Stitching Bloggers' Question of the Week

Do you stitch "on the go?" (On the commute to and from work, during your lunch break, waiting for the kids, etc.) If so, do you have a specific "travel" project or do you just grab whatever you happen to be working on and take it with you?

I always take a small project with me, and it's whatever small project I happen to be working on at the time. It's difficult for me to stitch in the car, but when I go to certain doctors where I know I'll wait, I can nearly always get in a few stitches. I hate it when people come over and ask me what I'm working on, and it never fails.

Oh how true that is ... when I had my gallbladder removed last year I had to sit in the waiting room for 8 whole hours - I would have gone insane had I not had a small stitching project with me, along with a crossword book ... it did annoy me, though, when someone came over to see what I was doing and kept rambling on about it - I think I was a bit in 'cocoon mode' and didn't really want to chat ... just wanted to stitch and take my mind off things.
