I sometimes feel guilty not supporting my LNS because I see a future in which brick & mortar retail stores will be a thing of the past, but I find it so much more convenient to shop online and have it delivered to my door. I just find it easier to go through organized websites than having to go through a store, having to ask for vethings you don't see and finding things you didn't see the first or second time. ONS' have it all listed and pictured, and I find the sales are better and no sales tax out of state. Besides that, and this is silly, I love getting stash in the mail. I'm like a little kid.

LOL I agree I LOVE getting those "mysterious" packages in the mail. Cuz sometimes by the time they come I've forgotten what I ordered. ;)
Our LNSs can not carry everything. It's not financially possible to keep everyting on hand in case someone wants it. So each shop has it's own flair, with favorite designers and hopefully some unique approaches that inevitably convince us to buy. I look forward to going in to get new ideas and fresh inspiration, but when I know what a need and I know where I can get and get it fast I shop online.
Nancy, thank you for the kind words you left on my blog. Actually, the sweater is the first I've tackled and I've had to rip out my first attempt because it was about twice the size it should have been. I've typically made scarves and accessories that don't absolutely require correct gague.
Snapperville is a 'free' border for the individual little Snappers. I love projects with little 'compartment' projects.
Happy Stitching!
Nancy, I love to read your posts and Happy Anniversary!!!
Yep... the squishy mail is great, isn't it? My only complaint is that sometimes things are backordered and I get a little impatient.
