Thanks so much for prayers and good thoughts

to you all. It's incredible how many animal lovers we have who stitch and blog. Every comment and personal email was cherished.

I've been sick with intestinal problems, and it seems to be moving upward with headache, stuffed up sinuses, along with chattering teeth, unable to get warm enough, even with gas log full blast, then waking up in a sweat.

Bless my mom's heart... she called our doctor, and he didn't make me come in but called in a couple of prescriptions she's dropping off inside my door, and ringing my doorbell. She's running away, of course, not wanting to get what I have at her age. I inherited her compromised immune system, so she could get it too easily. I'm just thankful I have both my parents and my daughter to help me out when Richard is working out of town.

I'll be back when I feel more like it. In the meantime, keep turning out those beautiful stitches! My kitties are keeping me company. They're very attentive when I'm sick.

Nancy, I hope you feel better soon. What you describe is exactly what my MIL is experiencing now. So, whatever you have in IL is also in PA!

When I'm sick, my kitties are my very attentive Doctor and Nurse, so I know you'll be in good 'paws', too!

BTW, how is your kitty doing? What type of treatment will you follow for her?

I hope the meds work and that you're feeling better soon. In the meantime, a little feline company always helps.

Let me try again...
Dear Nancy,
Get well soon!
There's a bunch of nasties going around. One landed my uncle in the hospital. He's better, but when he stands up, his blood pressure drops. Weird.
I'll be thinking about you. Probably getting upset about Amber didn't help mama kitty.

Oh no, sorry to hear you've got nasty bugs in your system ... hope you manage to kick them out soon so you're back to normal again. It's true with our kitties when we're sick - I remember when I had my eyes lasered and was in a lot of pain, and Rio didn't leave my side for a couple of days - I thought he'd been superglued to the bed blanket! ;) We're also mothers and daughters never mind how old we get ... Mums always come to the rescue when we need them - sometimes I wonder where we'd be without them! :)) {hugs}
